Heartsaver CPR/AED with First Aid

Heartsaver CPR/AED with First Aid gives those who are not Healthcare Providers the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for breathing problems, cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until medical personnel arrive. Participants will be certified by the American Heart Association for: Standard First Aid and CPR/AED for adults, children and infants. This course meets the Rule 2 and Rule 3 requirements for childcare providers.

All necessary books and study materials will be provided in class. There is no written test for Heartsaver courses unless requested by the student in advance. Intended Audience

Anyone who wishes to learn basic CPR and First Aid skills and are not a healthcare professional (healthcare professionals are required to take the more advanced BLS Healthcare Provider CPR course). This course can be taken by those who have never been certified before or who are taking it to update their certification.

CPR & First Aid Course length

Approximately five hours

Registration Policy: Payment and online registration is required before you are enrolled in a class (you will receive a confirmation email when you have successfully registered). Those registered at least one week in advance should receive their AHA certification card at the end of class, otherwise your card will be mailed after completion. Card Replacement Policy: If a certification card must be replaced for any reason, a $10 printing fee is required. Cancellation Policy: Contact us as soon as you need to reschedule or cancel. A $20 fee will be assessed for any unattended class or any enrollment that needs to be rescheduled/cancelled within 7 days of your scheduled course date.  A student that cancels or reschedules (within 7 days of the class) a second time will be required to purchase their class again.
